Quarantine

What is it to be quarantined with your kids? It’s a lot. That’s what it is. For the working family who have now been home with their kids in the house for a week or so. It’s eye opening. It’s exhausting. It’s somewhat, bat shit crazy. No pun intended.

Is it me or do they eat all day long?! No wonder the stores are empty. It’s our kids! And where does it all go? No wonder there’s no toilet paper! Geeesh.

It is exhausting, but not without a silver lining. Maybe somehow this is the reset button we need.
That constant treadmill of life coming to a pause. Take a close look at what’s going on. The time you’re spending together. The walks outside you may be taking together as families. The board games being dusted off. It’s quite beautiful.

We will one day hopefully look back on all this and smile. Obviously not for anyone who looses a loved one due to this.

I hope to look back and smile; and remember those extra few magical moments of life I had watching my kids grow.
